We aim to show and breed ponies of quality suitable to perform in any sphere. (see links at top of page for mares, stallions etc..)
Hengil consists of a small herd of well bred, true to type Welsh Mountain ponies. It consists of three females, a young colt bought in hopefully as a future outcross for all three mares, and two colt foals, which we have bred ourselves.
We have lightly but successfully shown our ponies achieving a seventh place in the 2009 Royal Welsh Show, with our first homebred colt, Hengil Gwyn.
Gwyn’s dam, Helgwm Poppit has also been shown successfully, winning most of her classes at WPCS bronze medal level, including second place in the annual NPS Area 28 points competition.
